President Donald Trump is traveling to Northeastern Pennsylvania today. He will speak at Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Monroe County, about the progress his administration is making against inflation and how they are working to improve the cost of living.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, is holding a hearing to consider online protections of children against offenders. The committee’s Subcommittee on Intellectual Property, chaired by Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina, will later hold a hearing on balancing the interests of local radio, songwriters, and performers in the digital age.
The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case regarding the spending limits Congress has imposed upon political parties’ advertising in cooperation with their candidates. The question is whether or not these limits violate the First Amendment.
